I actually forgot I was going to do this blog.
I realize now that I was in, on the day this was started, is what some would call a crisis. My life was in upheaval with my oldest (and best friend) heading off to college. She has been "away" for a year and a half now, so with time to gain some perspective, I'm doing great!
My life wants to turn around, and I finally agree!
Here are my new goals:
+ Spend some daily time in prayer and worship
- God first, others second, I am third
+ Finish a month of Aquatic Boot Camp
+ Cook with my Pressure Cooker at least 3 nights a week
-As a result I hope to Loose 30 lbs in 30 days
-Also Changing up the Allergy kids meals in the process
+ Remodel part of my house this year
-Downstairs bathroom / Laundry Room
-Living Room
-Master Bedroom
-Kids Bathroom - Total Remodel!
Sounds like I have my work cut out for me. It's a goal, and I can record my progress here.

Introduction
First, since I am new here. I think I should introduce myself.
I'm Carol and I have three children, two of which have life threatening food allergies. This is what defines us, and has for nearly 9 years.
We are accustomed to a lifestyle that causes us to do most of our cooking at home. It just seems we are stuck in a rut. I explain that we eat very simply to most, but it is just plain boring at times. heck most of the time.
so, this blog is hopefully going to help me change some of my evil ways. I want to make one new dish each week, and by the end of the year I will have tried 52 new items (or at least forced my kids to try some new things).
